I cannot recollect the source but will include it in the article when I am able to trace it. You can definitely follow the content from Bhaktinidhi or any other reputed site like Sanskritdocuments.org, stotranidhi etc. When in doubt whether to follow the content from Manblunder or any other site, I would suggest you follow the other sites. I would give least preference to the articles bearing my signature. I am not an expert in tantra by any yardstick. I am simply an enthusiast and a fellow sādhaka like you. One last advice which is essential in tantra - the guidance of the guru is supreme in all matters related to tantra.

Watch any youtube videos on yogic breathing and you might be able to understand the process. The practices of Prāṇāyāma should be learnt from adepts and not practiced off books or videos. I would strongly suggest that you find any Kriya Yoga related organization who can teach you the methods and help you on your spiritual journey.

The path of Śrīvidyā is considered supreme as it leads the sādhaka towards self-realization and if eligible, mokṣa as well. I would suggest reading Tripura Mahātmyam to gain a better understanding of what's in store for a Śrīvidyā sādhaka.

My suggestion is to read the mantra related articles in the Mantras category and also consider reading related articles in books to gain a better understanding. Once you familiarize yourself with the basics, you may approach one of our gurus or any guru from any other organization that you prefer and seek an initiation to recite a particular mantra of your choice or what is conferred upon you by your chosen guru.
