There are different opinions on this. But, the fact is that good karmas and bad karmas are to be experienced separately and one cannot override the other. Yes, these are the two areas, where many are pledging their conscience. They will undergo extreme miseries mostly in this birth, failing which in the next birth.

I have a question....how about good people who suffer due to bad karmas of past birth and no amount of their goodness and good deeds will help them to erase their bad karmas. If the evil people with good past karmic record can override their good karmas if they cheat in healthcare and spiritual activites. Is it possible to erase the past karma with good deeds and good thoughts?

Just forgot to add one more thing. If we rooted in Avidya that we are per your comment, may not be able to login and read articles from this site, so probably we are little educated than you think and can make what is what. Most of us have followed many Gurujis and Gurumas in the past and researched and found this site most useful.Thank you for listening.

Ananymous Ji, You do not have to worry that spiritual aspirants will be confused with theory explained in this site. It is very important to know the theory to understand anything better in depth. One thing for sure is, any one will continue reading the article only when time is ripe for them. I read many books and articles in the past from different authors and never understood anything. Raviji explains everything from basics so it is easy to make connection from one to another. He is gifted soul. You said learned persons like you and me would have done great research before taking up such positions, not them. I'm trying to be a learned person like you both too! Not only it is fine, but also better. Hymns of Lalitā Sahasranāma have soothing effect and if you close your eyes and listen to the recitation, you will be automatically pushed into trance.

Is it ok to listen to Lalita Saharanama on full moon day instead of reciting?
