Dear DevoteeThe Ganapati Sahasranama found in Rudrayamala Tantra and part of many compilations on Ucchishta Ganapati is not Guhya Sahasranama, and this is not related to srividya. The Sahasranama associated with Srividya is called Guhya Sahasranama and is from Uddamareshvara Tantra. This was published a few times but with lot of mistakes. All these mistakes according to my sources were on purpose to keep the Sahasranama a secret. The versions I have seen have nearly 300 important names changed/replaced with names from Mahaganapati Sahasranama from Ganesha Purana, mainly to veil the hidden mantras. The correct Sahasranama was with Chidanandatha of Guhananda Mandali and his direct shishya Rajalakshmi Suryanarayanan. I belong to Srividya lineage from Gujarat and have tried nearly for two decades to get a real, genuine version of this Saharanama, but have faced many hardships. I got a version from some sources in Chennai but all three publications were "fake" versions with nearly 300 names changed. The head priest at Kamakshi Devi temple at Kanchipuram guided me to Sri Harsha Ramamurthy ji of Kamakoti Mandali (www.kamakotimandali.com) who is also a direct shishya of (now not any more) Rajalakshmi Suryanarayanan who was also given details of Ucchishta Ganesh upasana by Chidanandantha in a vision. This gentleman lives in United States so it took me half a decade to meet him. He initially refused to share details as this is secret in his lineage but finally he told me to meet him. He has eight different versions of this Sahasranama from Uddamareshvara Tantra and only one is real one. He warned me that this Sahasranama cannot be recited unless Ganeshji himself wants you to and gave it to me and blessed me. Surprisingly, by the time I reached Ahmadabad, I met with an accident, had many bad news and worst of all, the Sahasranama was missing from my bag. In the flight, I had read only seven or eight lines. So I finally decided to leave it to Ganeshji's mercy whether or not I will be able to recite this Sahasranama. If anyone wants this Sahasranama, contact Sri Harsha Ramamurthy ji of Kamakoti Mandali. Ganeshji willing, you will get it, but we very careful as this Sahasranama is not like other verses and is like atom bomb.

When you have physical ailments, you should not practice kundalini meditation.

what do you mean by awakening kundalni gives disease free body? If am already suffering from any chornic diseases, by working hard to awaken kundalni makes my body disease free.

The scriptures observed that the state of perpetual Turiya is experienced following liberation. Before I began my maha shodasi sadhana, my understanding of turiya and liberation, whether they were real, what would be felt, experienced, how long it would take me, if I was worthy for such a sacred upasana, if the mantra for more effective or less effective than others - all of these conclusions were based on my opinion and were relative to my perspective.Today, I no longer have opinions about maha shodasi or turiya. I spend my existence in the present moment, no analysis, no debating, no conjecture, no arguement, no uncertainty, no fear. I am free. I am free because absolute truth does not change. It exists completely independent of relative observation. So my opinions about turiya and liberation no longer exist because I am now aligned with truth.I will not be responding to you again Jithesh. I hope you find the answers that you seek.

A humble request, not to stop in any way, the real experiences of Mr. Cowan, as we, ordinary seekers are reading it with great interest, as it really helps us in further realization. We are more interested to learn from experiences rather than relying on Scriptures. I personally feel that pure consciousness is nothing but knowledge of awareness. It clearly says Siva’s form is purely awareness (Bodhaswaroopa) the super richness. He is occupying this universe on his own. When universe moves away from his vision, on the dissolution of mind, his acquired vasanas dies away or nature interferes to take it out. One can feel and express in words only the experience, which is total emptiness, silence or sunya the maha prakruthi of Siva which is not at all empty. This is the place, the lap, where the great “big bang” happened and full universe scattered on the first place, on first spanda of AUM, the universal iccha sakthi. All sounds, objects and whole knowledge are within this great awareness. It cannot be explained in full by any studies as it is beyond words and experiences. When one grows enough to search back, he sees the lap and the universe embedded and himself as emptiness as he trespasses full universe.He gets the sidhis like “Ishitwa” and automatically acquires the qualities of divine like compassion, unconditional love. He experiences and feels with his awareness (super intelligence) that he is a part of “Isha”. He cannot control himself then, helps others out of his inherent compassion but not in the sense of interfering on one’s karma.Who knows in what subtle way divine is going to take out one’s karma all of a sudden? It is like an extended hand to one who is about to die in an earthquake. It is a great word of Guru, a flash of thought which eliminates the ignorance of a disciple for 100 births. Scriptures clearly say how the karma of Ratnakara (Valmiki) was taken out by Saptharishis.

I have only requested James Cowan to share his experience with us. He is not preaching and he just shared his experience. Let us get too personal on this. There can be a healthy discussion, but there should no personal attack. Dear James - You are making an inherent assumption that you are the only Shiva, so anything you say is correct. First this is to be corrected. You don't know me and cannot judge your superiority or inferiority with others based on your experience. So don't get carried away.I am not questioning your experience and also have no intend to discourage you. When you preach about altering someone’s karma, in a public forum, you should have the knowledge to defend it. Till you reach that maturity, avoid a debate.Maha Shodasi Upasana is a sacred practice which all readers respect a lot. So when you make a mistake (anytime in future), take responsibility by accepting that any mistake that the reader/listener/seeker may have felt is due to your ignorance and "not due to the scriptures you read, Shodasi upasana you practiced or your Guru's teaching". This article is not related kundalini meditation. Kundalini is Her subtlest form. What is discussed here is to attain Her through knowledge Not every meditation is related to kundalini. Kundalini is like a magnet. It ascends and descends along with our consciousness. Rituals is the foundation stage. Then we move on to mantra japa and finally we practice meditation. The highest state of meditation is the state when "no-mind" state unfolds leading to purest Consciousness. The purest Consciousness is Brahman.

Sir What you mean by knowledge here for attaining liberation? is it meditation techniques to raise kundalini to sahashara,pooja rituals for strong spiritual foundation..etc?
