Namaste sir, in the #3. karanyāsaḥ "nam̐ āpadudhāraṇāya tarjanībhyāṃ namaḥ", should it be "vam̐ āpadudhāraṇāya tarjanībhyāṃ namaḥ"?

I am a follower of Trika (a newbie) and your explanation of Pratyangira contradicts my understanding of Shakti, In terms of Trika could you describe her relation with Parabhairava? I. e. What kind of Shakti of Parabhairava she is in Trika terminology....

It is important to note that mantras are generally neutral and by nature can cause both good and bad. It is one of the main reasons why a suitable guru is chosen before embarking on the path, so we know that we are following a well-treaded path of a continuing lineage. My suggestion is to contact the Youtube content provider and seek an initiation from a guru of that lineage before following the instructions verbatim from the video.

The Pañcadaśī and its variations can offer all the benefits. But this happens only when one has followed the proper krama (procedural worship) of Śrī Vidyā.

Generally speaking, one should follow the mantra as per the tradition of the guru and that would govern which particular mantra of a deity to be followed. A learned guru at times may modify the mantra for the suitability of their disciples and that would be specific to the initiated disciples and not apply to everyone. Several variations of a mantra followed by various traditions are mostly recorded in the mantra manuals and they may be followed after seeking an initiation from a guru (or a self-initiation if a suitable guru cannot be found).

There are many publications that you can find in Sanskrit and other languages that describe this homam in detail. You may look for them on Amazon, Exoticindia.com, Chaukhamba, Mayuresh Publications, Kalyan Mandir books etc. The priests at the temple would already be aware of the process and most likely conducting the homam at the premises on demand or on special occasions, festivals etc.
