Namaste Jothi. There are so many things I would like to discuss with you, and many things I have already learnt from your contributions here, thank you. I understand that there is likely a good reason that you post through pseudonyms, but I want to ask - would it be possible to become your student in these areas? I have some small experiences here and there, many setbacks and some progress, enough for me to feel confident that this path is one I wish to pursue wholeheartedly, but I sorely feel the need for a guru. I understand that the stage I am at is quite elementary in many ways, and you are probably keen to avoid wasting time on the insincere so I will ask like this - please suggest a course of action, or sadhana, or study, and a method of proving the same by which you would accept a student. I would like to be able to engage with you directly and I am happy to do as suggested for however many weeks, months, you require for that to happen. I feel you would be able to recognise a sincere request, and so I ask with this in mind. If that is entirely impossible, okay, but I have to ask! Thank you

Namaste Nirvanika. This form of the Divine Mother is worshiped in a different śrīcakra than what people are used to seeing: ṣoḍaśāvaraṇa śrīcakra (śrīcakra with sixteen āvaraṇas). I cannot say more about this form of the Divine Mother, because Rajyasiddhilakṣmī awakens in people an exaggerated greed to cling to wealth. This Mother immerses the devotee in so many riches that he ends up getting lost along the way and does not wish to advance further.

Namaste Rajiv. The main question for anyone who wants to be a devotee of Dhumavati in the Kaliyuga is: do you have the merit and personality strong enough to see all your enemies tortured and killed along the way? Because Dhumavati's main action in the Kaliyuga is Māraṇa (Killing). Forget another punishment, Dhumavati goes straight to torture and then kill. Dhumavati will give you all knowledge, pleasure and liberation, like the other Mahavidyas, but her path is that of those who have no mercy. The problem is not even about Dhumavati torturing and killing internal enemies, the problem is that you see her doing this to external enemies too, which will inevitably happen frequently if you are pure inside and live in society in Kaliyuga. Again I will talk about the main question to the devotee: does the devotee have enough merit to walk this violent path? If the answer is no, that devotee will suffer at the hands of Dhumavati because she will "correct" him. Dhumavati's Supreme Mantra is: om̐ namaḥ pracaṇḍaghoradāvānalavāsinyai hrīm̐ hrūm̐ samayavidyākulatattvadhāriṇyai mahāmām̐sarudhirapriyāyai chrīm̐ strīm̐ klīm̐ dhūmāvatyai sarvajñatāsiddhidāyai phrem̐ phaṭ svāhā || . Such a devotee of Dhumavati, who worships her according to the rules, can make even Brahma and other (gods) die, he makes all his enemies die, he banishes them, immobilizes them and makes them fight among themselves. Obtain- If perfection in the sixfold procedure (magic) and the status of one who wanders in heaven (Khecara). He will be all-knowing and obtains the status of Rudra. He will attain liberation and will show no mercy to anyone who is in his path, be it people or gods. He is feared by the planets and all, for there is no punishment, but torture and death. Such a devotee walks the path of no mercy. Clearly, it must be in the devotee's Karma to follow this path. I cannot be like this: no mercy.

Dear Nesh, not just the pṛṣṭhābhyāṃ (with the back of the palms joined together which is very new to me) but the whole sequence of namah, svaha, vasat, hum, vausat, phat of the Kara Nyasa are really eye-opening. I cannot thank enough for this invaluable information.

Jothi and Krishna ji. There is very little information about Dhumavati Devi, could you touch in detail on this unique Mahavidya. I learned before starting sadhana, need to turn to Dhumra Ganapati, and recite his 11-syllable mantra, what kind of mantra is this?

Oh yes. Wish we can hear more about RajyaSiddhilakshmi. I have not seen her mention in any grantha so must be from oral tradition or possibly not sure of it’s existence and procedure. Would love to hear some exposition on it from a learned member.

Did anyone else grossly misunderstand the meaning of pṛṣṭhābhyāṃ until this article?

Regarding the explanation of chandah, which four fingers should cover the mouth, assuming the nose touching occurs simultaneously and is occupying one finger? Does a specific finger always touch nose? Since this procedure is different than the two finger positioning given in most of the articles here, if a person has been doing one of the other ones for some time and probably imbued them with mental energy and a personal psychic effect, should they stick to what they’ve always used? If a person has not done this before, is the above mentioned practice typically preferred or is the one popularly mentioned in articles here equally good? Thank you.

Wow this is a real treasure! We are so lucky to have this information available in this digestible and comprehensible manner for any seeker around the whole world. Thanks to Lalitāmbikā and Heartfelt thanks to Śrī Gurujis, who are none other than Her instruments, guiding and shedding light and dispelling the darkness and noxious fogs of Kali Yuga. Śrī Ravi Guruji - Lalitambika must be very proud!
