There are references to pacification of the navagrahas by association with the Dasa Mahavidyas. There are also associations with the Dasavataras of Sri Mahavishnu. Can you please elaborate on these aspects of the Dasa Mahavidyas also?

Identifying colours and yoginis and goddesses with different chakras are only to make us concentrate on the respective chakras. Some believe Ganapati is in mūlādhāra and some may believe Kālī is in mūlādhāra. These are meant to focus our attention on a particular chakra. It will be easier to contemplate a chakra with a goddess associated with it, rather than waiting for energisation of the chakra to happen only by fixing our consciousness.

What is free fill? It is an action uninfluenced by karma or not related to Divine will. It is the power of making free choices unconstrained by external agencies such as religious or community or environmental influences. So, uninfluenced by karma or Divine Will, we do certain acts of our own due to freewill, which cause future karmas. Yes, these practices control the mind and makes it pure. What to do with pure mind alone? Therefore, when the mind is purified, we begin the process of understanding the reality of our Creator, as the mind is highly pure and we do not think about anything. The ultimate goal of life is liberation in this birth itself and liberation is possible only through no-impression stage of the mind, as during liberation mind is pervaded by Divine Energy/presence alone. Ultimately, at some point of time in spiritual path,

We also have freewill which is beyond control of Karma, even though this is limited, freewill determines our future karma as well. So if we practice these methods, in a way we can at least have some control over our future because of these practices, which will stop us from doing unwanted actions which are regressive to our progress.

SirIt is mentioned that each Mahavidya is situated in different parts of our body like Lalitha in Sahashara,Kali in Muladhara. Why is that? Is it for cleansing the nadis and preparing our body for kundalini arouasal?

Every hymn will have epilogue and it is unique to the poet who composes these hymns. The effects of recitals depends upon the depth of devotion. At least, we can avoid further karmas. People can never lose faith on good values, as if bad prevails over good, evil forces are always annihilated through incarnations. Living with high moral and ethical standards keeps our minds clean and there by reducing further accrual of karmas. Only with pure mind, Self can be realized and in order to have pure mind, we have to have faith on good values.

What is the use of chanting any hymns or any mantra when karma itself is ultimate. People lose faith on good values and why the phala sruthi describes like that?

We have to remember two things. 1. Karma is supreme and we have to necessarily experience karma. No way, karma can be destroyed by others. Even God Himself will not destroy your karma. 2. Our devotion should be complete and we should always stay connected with HER. Prathyangira should would have come if the above two are applicable.
