Śrī Navākṣari Vana Durgā Mantra (श्री नवाक्षरि वनदुर्गा मन्त्र) :-

Purpose:- Protection from dangerous animals, birds and reptiles as well as all types of enemies. Obtaining wealth of all types and prosperity. Removal of all types of fear.
Source:- Māhākāla Saṃhita.
1. Viniyogaḥ (विनियोगः) :-
om̐ asya śrī vanadurgā mahāmantrasya ।
araṇyaka ṛṣiḥ ।
atyanuṣṭup chandaḥ ।
śrī vanadurgādevatā ।
ūm̐ bījaṃ ।
svāhā śaktiḥ ।
śrī vanadurgā prītyarthaṃ jape viniyogaḥ ॥
ॐ अस्य श्री वनदुर्गा महामन्त्रस्य ।

श्री वनदुर्गा प्रीत्यर्थं जपे विनियोगः ॥
Meaning:- This prayer/mantra japa is to invoke Śrī Vana Durgā Devi and perform Her mantra japa to obtain Her complete grace in all aspects and especially for removal of all hurdles afflicting our health, material and spiritual pursuits as well as to ensure success in all undertakings and removal of all miseries caused by enemies. The sage (ṛṣiḥ) is Araṇyaka, the meter (chandas) for the mantra is Atyanuṣṭup. The seed/bīja for the mantra is ūm̐. The power/śakti to the mantra is svāhā. The deity is Śrī Vana Durgā Devi. May the Divine Mother Śrī Vana Durgā Devi bless and remove all types of misery, sorrow, poverty, debts, health issues affecting us and bestow immense wealth, both spiritual and material, upon us as well as fulfillment of all cherished desires, hopes and wishes. May She provide us with victory in all our undertakings and protect us from all enemies, internal and external.

कालाभ्रसमदेहाभां सिंहस्कन्धोपरि स्थिताम् ।
मौलिबद्धेन्दुशकलां कटाक्षैः शत्रुभीतिदाम् ॥
त्रिनेत्रां पीवरोरोजां स्मेरवक्त्रां चतुर्भुजाम् ।
शङ्ख चक्रं गदां खड्गमुद्वहन्तीं हरप्रियाम् ॥
Meaning:-
We meditate upon the terrifying form of the Divine Mother Vana Durgā Devī, seated on a menacing lion and radiating a dark complexion resembling that of a rain-laden dark cloud. She holds a cakra/discus, gada/mace, khaḍga/sword and a śaṅkha/conch. She also showers Her grace with the vara and allays all fears through the abhaya mudrā-s. She has the lustre of a moon and has three eyes (elevated ājñā cakra). Her terrifying glance is enough to invoke great fear in the minds of enemies. She has a bandana on Her head with a crescent moon shining forth. She is adorned with necklaces, ear rings and bracelets of precious stones. She is well endowed and extremely powerful. She is resplendent in Her glory that radiates upon all the three realms. The Divine Mother is adored by Indra and other celestial surā-s and is said to be residing in the forests of the Vindhya Mountain range. Lord Śiva remains always close to Her heart and She radiates with true bliss.

7. japamālā mantraṃ (जपमाला मन्त्रं) :-
Recite the below mantra once, to pray to the japa māla and invoke the blessings for a fruitful japa.
om̐ māṃ māle mahāmāye sarvamantra svarūpiṇi।
caturvarga stvayinyasta stasmānye siddhidā bhava॥
ॐ मां माले महामाये सर्वमन्त्र स्वरूपिणि।
चतुर्वर्ग स्त्वयिन्यस्त स्तस्मान्ये सिद्धिदा भव॥
8. Guru Mantra (गुरु मन्त्र):-
Recite the following guru mantra once, to seek the blessings of all gurus and the Guru.
om̐ hrīm̐ siddhaguro prasīda hrīm̐ om̐ ।
ॐ ह्रीं सिद्धगुरो प्रसीद ह्रीं ॐ ।
9. Atha Śrī Navākṣari Vana Durgā Mantraḥ (अथ श्री नवाक्षरि वनदुर्गा मन्त्रः) :
Recite the following 9 lettered mantra at least 108 times, preferably on a rudrakṣa or turmeric māla.
om̐ aim̐ śrīm̐ hrīm̐ chrīm̐ hūm̐ krom̐ svāhā ।
ॐ ऐँ श्रीँ ह्रीँ छ्रीँ हूँ क्रोँ स्वाहा ।
Meaning:-
The mantra consists of bīja (seed) syllables only.
The Śabda Brahman om̐ represents auspiciousness.
The Sarasvatī bīja (seed) mantra aim̐ represents knowledge, both spiritual and material.
The Lakṣmī bīja (seed) mantra śrīm̐ represents fertility, abundance and wealth, both material and spiritual.
The Mahāmāyā bīja (seed) mantra hrīm̐ represents all the triads, such as Creation, Preservation and Destruction. It also signifies concentration, power, ambition and the drive to accomplish the desired results.
The Yogini bīja (seed) mantra chrīm̐ represents the power of the yoginis and grants material success in a speedy manner.
The Krodha bīja (seed) mantra hūm̐ represents cutting off all attachments as well as obstacles in our material and spiritual progress.
The Krodhīśa bīja (seed) mantra krom̐ represents great anger and force to break all types of obstacles towards material and spiritual progress.
The svāhā mantra is for offering oblations to the Divine Mother.

13. Samarpaṇam (समर्पणम्):-
Take water in uttaraṇi and by reciting the following śloka, offer the water to the earth.
guhyātiguhyagoptrī tvaṁ gṛhāṇāsmat-kṛtaṁ japam।
siddhirbhavatu me devi tvatprasādānmayi sthirā ॥
गुह्यातिगुह्यगोप्त्री त्वं गृहाणास्मात्कृतं जपम्।
सिद्धिर्भवतु मे देवि त्वत्प्रसादान्मयि स्थिरा॥
14. japānantaraṃ mālāmantraṃ (जपान्ततरं मालामन्त्रं) :-
Recite the below śloka and mantra, followed by placing the māla upon the top of the head and then place it back in the māla bag and conceal it. It should NOT be worn.

Lord Gaṇeśa's Mahāgaṇapati sahasranāmam has the following nāma/attribute - ṭhadvayī-pallavāntastha-sarva-mantreṣu-siddhidaḥ (ठद्वयीपल्लवान्तस्थसर्वमन्त्रेषुसिद्धिदः), which indicates that any mantra ending with svāhā (ṭhadvayī) gets siddhi by the blessings of the consort of siddhalakṣmi - Lord Mahāgaṇapati, from a Gaṇapatya (Lord Gaṇeśa followers, who see Him as the Godhead) perspective. There are many mantras of Lord Gaṇeśa, including that of Śrī Mahāgaṇapati that end with svāhā. It is definitely permissible for mantras of any deity to end with svāhā. The word 'svāhā' is for offering oblations. These oblations need not necessarily be in the fire and can also be internal for burning up the accumulated karmas. When performing homa for these mantras, an additional 'svāhā' at the end of the mantra is appended.

Yes, there would be two svāhā-s. For instance, in the case of this mantra - "om̐ aim̐ śrīm̐ hrīm̐ chrīm̐ hūm̐ krom̐ svāhā", the homam/havan mantra would be "om̐ aim̐ śrīm̐ hrīm̐ chrīm̐ hūm̐ krom̐ svāhā svāhā". The last 'svāhā' should be recited when the homa dravyas/material is put in the fire, signifying that the oblations are being offered to the mantra/deity.

Dear sir, this is an extremely potent mantra that is generally given by a guru to his/her tested disciples based on the need, inclination etc. In general, this mantra is popularly applied in the case of black magic or when faced with severe hardships, misery, poverty etc. If these do not apply, then I would suggest that you seek another mantra or the regular Durga devi mantras from a competent guru. Please do note that one should also dedicate a significant amount of time towards japa and related procedures to see any meaningful results. You are most welcome to contact any guru of your choice and seek an initiation.

I found this mantra in Māhākāla Saṁhita on page 180 You can check it out here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rtnW9KtK7vCvf-Q0ogCtHn0z94piRfpS/view?usp=sharing There really is a mantra - Vana Durga Navakshari and Dhyanam, but there is no Rishi, no Chandah, no Devata, no Bija, no Shakti, no Viniyogah at all. Where did you get the full Viniyogah and other Nyasa?

You may find it in the Vana Durga Kalpa and associated tantra documents related to Durgā devi. The mantra reference will still be associated with Mahākāla Saṃhitā, but the other Ṛṣī, Chandas, Nyāsā could be from another source. Most of the mantras are scattered across several tantras and compilations from tantras, attributed to various sources and lineages.

Namaste. Through the grace of the divine mother I found information about the existence of the very rare "Vana Durga Saptashati" that consists of 362 māla mantras. The Vana Durga Saptashati consists of all the Mahā mūlams and māla mantras of Ugratārā, Bagalāmukhi, Kāli, Shakti peetha devatas, Bhrāmari mantras, Kārthaveeryārjuna vishaya, Asura vishaya, Kāli vishaya, Pratyangiha vishaya, and Shulini vishaya, many. It also has various astra (weapon) mantras like Pāshupatāstra , Vāyvāstra, Brahmāstra. Compared to other mantra prayogas (applications), the Vana Durga Saptashati is a collection of some important vedic mantras from Atharva Veda. More than 300 māla mantras are included in this precious text.A complete recitation of the Vana Durga Saptashati takes 7 hours. It is said that Agastya Mahārishi performed the upāsana of Shri Vana Durga Bhagavati. Where can I find Vana Durga Saptashati? This sacred text aroused great curiosity in me.

Vanadurgā Saptaśati (700 verses) is not published anywhere to my knowledge, but could be in a manuscript form in some libraries or in secret possession of some private owners. There is a Vanadurgā Pañcaśati (500 verses) that is available in the Telugu language script, but is essentially Sanskrit. There are several Digbandhana (Protection) mantras of various deities included in it. I have not seen a full dissection and analysis of the 500 verses by scholars as yet. I have not seen all the published works of the 500 verses yet, so my analysis is limited to what I currently possess with me.

I stand corrected. Vanadurga Saptaśati was published by the Kañci mutt many years ago and is not in publication anymore. It has now been republished in Telugu and available to very few selected individuals. I will try my best to obtain a copy. It is not dependant in my opinion. But usually the 9 lettered mantra is given before proceeding any further.

They are the six forms of the bīja hrīṁ. They are not specific to any one particular cakra to the best of my knowledge. Someone with more clarity and understanding can elucidate in detail for the benefit of everyone.

These are the 5 Bijas of 5 shakti -cit, ananda. Iccha, jnana, kriya along with 6 reflexive power of Shiva to manifest. These 6 if you see are all within Swaras.
