No need to start with poorva bhag. No problem in self-studying. You have to take care of pronunciation. If possible and if time permits, understand the meaning of each name.

Is that necessary to start with poorva bhaga ? I always strtd with stotra and I am started to study this . Is there any problem for self studying ? What all things I should take care now

Keep it up.Why did enlightened gurus suffer from diseases?In fact, THEY have not suffered from any diseases but THEIR gross body's might be. The thing which is eternal i.e. saaswatha is Atma and whatever asaswata is Anatma. Gross body is combination of pancha bhutas. Pancha bhutas are asaswatha hence this gross body also. So it is proved that gross body is not atma. Anatmas will change with passing of time. This is the main nature of anatmas. Hence, gross body will change at different stages.SOUL is omnipresent. There is only one thing exists i.e. SOUL. Whatever we see is reflection of this SOUL only. You see trees, motor vehicles, rivers etc..all are reflections of soul only. Only your bhava is manifesting as this world. This bhava is very strong as such our buddhi (one of the antahkarana) will not allow us to understand this. Hence, our sadhana should be in such a way that our budhi realize the FACT that whatever the world appearing to our eye is nothing but reflection of atma. This stage is very difficult to achieve. A sadhaka who achieve this stage will see all as atma. Then what is cancer, what are diseases? No cancer, no disease. Everything is Anandamaya...utmost bliss only.This is the reason why great sidha purushas like Sri Ramana Maharshi, Sri Ramakirshna Paramahamsa, Sri Vivekananda etc never suffered from any diseases though their gross bodies attacked by external objects. Soul is one entity but why are we seeing the population getting multiplied?Panchakritya paraayana:Yes, SOUL is one entity only. As you know there are three bodies they are gross (stula), subtle (sukshma), subtlest (karana). You know what gross body is. Sukshma body is the combination of pancha tanmatras, antah karana chatustaya etc... A jiva which is in influence of maya will act according to antah karana chatustaya (chitta, budhi, mano, and ahamkara). Again this will depend upon trigunas (satva, rajo and tamo). These are main source of arishadvargas (kaama, krodha, lobha, moha, mada and matsaryas). Who's chitta is not shudhi they will indulge in sinful acts and vice versa. Who attain chitta sudhi they are becoming true saints. It is very difficult to attain chitta sudhi. For chitta sudhi only puja, mantra japa, sandhya vandana etc were told in sastras. Who got chitta sudhi they can reach ultimate destiny step by step. Others will have to take birth. Why take birth again? They got one more chance to realize the truth. But what we do? We again indulge in influence of arishadvargas and do sinful acts. Again take birth...and...death till you realize your soul. This is the reason we see population getting multiplied. It may be difficult to understand the FACT but not impossible. So do sadhana and realize the ultimate fact.

Soul is one entity but why are we seeing the population getting multiplied

Nobody can escape from the clutches of karma. One has to surely experience one's prarabdha karma. Karma can be experienced only through body and the soul is always free from any afflictions. Soul acts only as a witness always. Such great saints, after exhausting all their karmas leave their stage of Jivanmukta and merge with Brahman. Ramana Maharishi also suffered from cancer.

Why did enlightened gurus like ramakrishna paramahamsa had cancers? The great yogic guru vivekananda had so many diseases? Does kundalini awakening will not give a disease free body to these great gurus and saints

When you are Brahman, you should look at the whole world as Brahman. You alone cannot be Brahman and if you think so, it is deceptive realization. When everybody around you is Brahman, you should learn to love everyone around you and you should be beyond all dualities. You have to make this possible. Then only you become a fully realized person. To attain this level, you need to complete spiritual knowledge. .It's like every living creature/ thing is a balloon. There is air around the balloon and within the balloon. ( Brahman is everywhere and within everything). Once the balloons are popped,the air in the balloon merges with the air outside. So everything around and within us is Brahman. Once the physical body of a self realised person falls, the soul merges into Brahman.
