Meaning: Salutations to the Divine Mother Śrī Saubhāgyalakṣmī, consort of Lord Mukunda (Viṣṇu) seated on an expansive lotus. She who emerged from the ocean of consciousness and resides in the celestial Vaikuṇṭha, served by many aides, all celestials and their companions, is the cause of sustenance of the entire existence. Such is Her greatness, that Rudra the Destroyer and Brahma the Creator yearn for side glance to enrich their own power and seek contentment. She is the cause of all the triads and their sustenance.
The word śrī-raṅga-dhāmeśvarīm also indicates the nasalization of the vowels. The descent of the super-consciousness into sound begins with the vowels. Likewise, the reverse process, which is the ascent of the individual consciousness towards the universal, takes shape at the navanādas - the 9 spiritual centers between the third-eye ājñā cakra and the crown sahasrāra.
Another interpretation is the cosmic virtual reality – Māya that is set forth in motion by the will of the Divine Mother and this playground serves as the platform for the individual souls to discover their true identity with the Divine Mother.

The lotuses represent the evolution of the consciousness and also the material and spiritual wealth prevalent in the entire Creation. Her white complexion reflects the revealed Truth and the precious ornaments reflect the abundance that She showers upon Her devotees. The wish granting Vara mudra represents the fulfillment of all wishes and desires and the fear allaying Abhaya removes any and all fears and doubts that one may have. The moon represents the mind and She is the super-consciousness. The closeness of the subtle body consisting of the mind, ego and intellect (antaḥkaraṇa) to the causal body consisting of karma and the consciousness is indicated, with the relationship between Candra and the Divine Mother.
